I haven't used it yet, and never will.
LC on the SS seems to cause a lot of axles breaking, especially on the early models (2010). It also causes excessive tire spin on the line when you drag (at least from what I have seen from SS and ZL1 camaro's). My advice is to use your legs to rev and launch (usually around 2Krpm). A "manual" launch with practice will be much smoother and far less damaging to your clutch and diff..IMO. |

Are you dumping the clutch and flooring it? Rev to 2000-2500 and let the the clutch slip out as you are getting on the gas. Maybe 30-40ft is all before you should be fully engage but you need to learn how to slip it to get better launches if you arent now.

I set up a pseudo launch control in my tune. It actually works pretty well. Just because you are using something to hold your RPMs steady doesn't mean you have to be harder on your car. Use the clutch the same as you would if you were holding the RPMs steady normally. It just helps me focus on the clutch and the tree instead of staring at the tach.
With that said. Spark cut RPM limiting is going to be very hard on your exhaust. If you have cats I'd say forget about it. I don't have cats and I ended up blowing some baffling loose in my muffler.
