Hurst needs a car!

anyone in the so cal area who may be interested in helping Hurst confirm fitment on their "aftermarket" performance shifter for the camaro should contact them right away. I heard they were looking to fit the aftermarket version of their shifter into a car asap.. this is not the O.E. version to be offered by GM...so, if somebody in so cal has a 6 speed , might be a good opportunity!

wow... surprised that they have not had enough linkage with GM on Camaro to make this unecessary but seems clear that there has been some major gaps in interaction there so far for some reason. Hurst must have lost a lot of sales direct from factory based on the number of folks I have seen asking for hurst shifter ex factory and then having to cancel it.

the O.E. program is still on and per GM direction they have changed some items on the shifter and it will be forthcoming.. This is Hurst's own version of the shifter they are building for customers who got the car without a shifter and decided to add one.

This isn't an attempt to "sale" the rejected shifter is it?

not at all!.. The O.E. shifter is not "rejected" .. It is being re-worked and a different knob being designed per GM'S request.. This is the AFTERMARKET shifter hurst will produce solely away from GM for those customers who do not get the car with the O.E. shifter factory installed
