PERFECT size. It's muscular but not blocky. Unlike the Mustang, it looks like Physicists were actually on the development team. Short, pretty wide, pretty aerodynamic.

I've passed 3 Avengers since this photo was seen...and I conciously stare at them to gauge a size for the Camaro.
It seems to me, that it's going to be (size-wise) between the previous model Mustang, and the current model Mustang; a little bit smaller than a 4th gen. But that's just me. |

I've seen a number of Avenger's and I agree that the pre-pros look like they're plenty small. Definitely smaller than my 4th Gen...everyone who knows me always talked about my Camaro being a boat...but to me, it feels pretty small. I don't know My mom used to have a '95 Dodge Intrepid...that sucker was a boat...we also had an old '92-93 .......Taurus...(first and last ford my parents ever owned >>> we were turning out of a parking lot and the front axle snapped in two...left wheel facing right...right wheel facing left ) That car was a boat, too...Anyway, I reeeeeeeeally look foward to seeing/touching/driving the new Camaro

If you thought those were boats, I'd hate to hear what you call actual "full size cars". Both the Intrepid (it was the biggest Dodge car at the time) and the Taurus (not the biggest Ford car) were mid-size cars. Current "boats" are more like the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis twins, the most recent Cadillac DTS, etc. If you go back to '95 (the year of your Intrepid), Chevy had a boat of it's own, but eveyone wanted one (anyone remember the Impala SS?). Of course, if you want real boats, go back some years....every model year of the Town Car, '81-'84 (or so) Buick Electra, any Buick Roadmaster, the Caprices, the late 70's T-Birds and Lincoln Marks (you could land a helicopter on the hoods of these cars). Go even further back to the old Caddy's and such. Either way, your parents' Intrepid and Taurus weren't even close to being boats. |
