$145,000 Stock Camaro SS

Would you pay $145,000 for a stock 2010 Camaro SS? That is what us down here in Australia are having to put up with. I know some people will say it's because of the right hand drive conversion but I think that it is complete crap that we are charged this price for a car available for 40k in the U.S.

Just had to get this rant off my chest, it has been really bugging me lately seeing so many people having fun with their new Camaro's on this forum and us in Aus can't get them with ease

An SS starts at $31,000.00 US $'s here. How many Australian dollars convert to a US dollar? That could explain the high price. The other answer is that liberal governments tax the hell out of their constituants. Remember this when you vote.

Mann, that sucks!

Is it cheaper to buy here and have it shipped as I saw from another person in Europe?

Currently:

$1.00 AUD = $0.918173 USD

So... $31,000 USD = $33,767 AUD

$145,000 Aussie dollars converts into $133,153 US dollars, and $141,183 Canadian Dollars.

Holy Crap!

Anyone know how much it costs to ship a car to Australia?
