I just want plain and simple.. I'm getting the 1SS (either auto or manual) with the only upgrade being the Boston Acoustics system since it would cost about the same to get my own set of speakers installed and I don't want the Geek Squad at Best Buy messing with the car doors and wires...I do prefer cloth and can live without the convenience package. I live in Florida so auto start isn't necessary..

The 4 pack gauges are confirmed to be ready for install on a 1SS harness? |

They almost always have all the connections for all the possible options included in the wiring harnesses. They don't make a different wiring harness for each option.

IMVHO, it's a good value and has a lot of great content; it's a great package, I think

what?
What? I live in Florida and just got my 2ss vert. Auto start is fantastic. I start my car, as I am leaving my office on HOT days and the ac has evertying cooled down for me by the time I get to my car. While this is a luxury, I love it. |

The extras in the 2SS are awesome, and worth every penny. I've got plenty of excuses why I ordered a 1SS but nothing new you haven't already read.
My biggest reason for going the simple 1SS route is leather seating. Here in Texas, we've been stuck over 100* daily, with plenty of days breaking 110*, just not practical at all. Then again I kept my order pretty simple anyway, 1SS/M6, no options. If the car weren't going to be a DD, there's no reason I wouldn't have ordered a 2SS. If you live in a cooler area, then just disregard this post.

Hey.. what gives?
I have a 2ss vert and the only ambient lighting I seem to have are the led rope on the doors..just the one upper one... looks like you have the led lights rope circling the door panel and along the dash??? I guess I'll go look at my manua again. Or is something wrong and I need to go to the dealer? |

Its worth it to get the 2SS for just the heated seats.
They get real hot and really warm your tush and lower back. On those chilly mornings they feel soooo goooood. |
