Will the front lift points work for oil change?

Searched forum for best location for lift pads on a row post lift. Found this old post and looking for verification that these points have worked for others. Have used location where scissor jack goes in past but looking for another option that doesn't risk bending the pinch weld. Assume area immediately inside the scissor jack location is suitable with a 2x4 to spread the loaf out? Not sure the arms on my lift are long enough to access the floor jack positions shown in the photos of the car on its side that are on several threads.

Sorry, but reopening this old thread. I just got a 2 post lift installed. I am seeing where other people lift their car from exactly with their 2 post lift. I see some guys put the lift right on the rear cradle bolts, but my first plan of action is to replace my rubber cradle bushings with solid ones.

You can look at ZL1 addons for their lift point pads. They get attached to the pinch welds I believe and you can lift from there. Just an idea.

I just use the pinch welds. Never had an issue.
