Best Tune?

I need your recommendations for the best tune based on your personal experience and gains with your 2010/11 Camaro SS. I recently installed Kooks LTs w/catts and a Vararam CAI. I am now ready for a tune. I will add 160 stat. Thanks for any input you may have.

The best tune will be done by a local professional with a lot of skill tuning LSX powered vehicles. He will put your car on the dyno (base line it and tune it) and then run it on the street (fine tune it). You should have some talented tuners in your area.

Thunderracing in in Lousiana. I'm sure there are some more good shops.

Not sure if they are tuning at present. However, I will check with them as I did a few weeks ago. I prefer a tune in which I could go back stock if I had to bring car in for service. Thanks for the response.

Call Jannetty Racing and get and SCT from him. The tune will be great and it will allow you to go back to stock as you want.

Not sure where you are in Lousiana but give Jason a call at Lucky's Speed (903-720-3695). He can hook you up with a SCT tune or Dyno/Street tune.

Wherever I go, I hope they'll give/send me the stock file and the tune file.

I had a HP Tuner tune from National Speed and the results was pretty impressive! Night and day difference at every level.

I vote for Jannetty tune in the case as well.

Just realize that you can put your stock tune back but if you have any warranty issues that GM will be able to tell it's been re-tuned by a non-GM tune and will probably deny the work to be covered under warranty.

It's not like the good old days when you could do that. GM got wise to that little trick and make it so that they record every tune. So there is now a log of what went on.

Oh...and buying a whole new ECM isn't supposed to work anymore either because of the way the VIN is tied to it. I'm not sure the details on that one but that's what I've heard through the rumor mill.

If you tune your car you need to be able to accept the fact that you'll probably loose your drivetrain warranty.

+1 once shes tuned shes tuned, you can go back to stock parameters, but its the end of gm touching it under warranty.
