It has been a while since I've updated this thread. So far I have painted my calipers yellow, installed a Vitesse throttle controller (located where the HUD controls are supposed to be), and purchased a color matching antenna. I'm soon getting my roof vinyl wrapped matte black, so I will take pics once it's done.

Hey man, how's it going! Did you ever install the brembos? Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it for u? Also, what are your thoughts on the vitesse?

What's up, bro. I installed the brembos with the help of a friend. It took us about two hours since we've never done it before. It was definitely worth it and it's one of my favorite mods. The throttle controller is pretty cool. The car doesn't feel as heavy. My favorite feature is the economy mode though. It gets me awesome gas mileage, and it controls my speeding. Haha.

I did the front brakes only since I didn't want to add rotational weight to the rears. The installation wasn't hard, but it was very labor intensive. I recommend having an extra pair of hands especially when bleeding the brakes.

Here's the roof vinyl wrapped in a matte black. I also got a color matched shark fin antenna, but it is not shown in the pictures.

Redid all the wiring, and replaced the 8000K bulbs for 4300K bulbs for better visibility.
Painted roof XM antenna Washed, clay bared, compounded, polished, and waxed. Oh, and I bought me a gixxer. |
