I had the dealership paint my stripes on based on the template from the hood and hockey stick stripe package. You may notice that the rear SS and the side CAMARO letters are missing, we had to order new ones because the adhesive was damaged when they were removed for painting. I love the car and the people from Sun Chevrolet in McMurray, PA (south of Pittsburgh) were great every step of the way. The new car sales manager, Martin Cumba Jr., actually had a lot of input on the final paint scheme and I would definitely recommend this dealership to anybody. They did sell me the car for exactly MSRP too. Overall a great experience and a joy to drive.
The first pics are of the day I picked it up and the last ones are of my car and my dad's 69 Z28 at Oglebay Park in Wheeling, WV.

I got a question for you guys. I am planning on getting a 2LT/RS SIM Camaro with IO Leather Interior and CGM rally's...and I was just wondering if yall would think this would look good! Black out the bow tie, and make the outline of it in red...what do ya think?

I had been thinking about getting my Bowtie Painted Red to match the badging when my 2SS RS arrives. I know I am a horrible photoshopper....but here is the Bowtie photoshopped on my wife's 2LT RS SIM. Black or Red will look good. I think the subtle color accents against the SIM are cool looking wheather it be Black or Red. This color red is a little lighter shade than the RS Badge so this would not be the exact color match but it was the only red in my paint bucket.

Horrible photoshop but ya get the idea..

Have been considering doing the same thing on my grille bowtie when it comes in. Will try to find the closest shade of red I can that matches the SS, and airbrush the lens. Thanks for posting the photoshop DCJ I wanted to see what it would look like,before I did this. Looks good by the way!

Yeah see, what I am thinking is where you have it red, to make it black...and then where the outline is silver, to make it red lol. That way it is a little spice, but not too spicy...feel me? LOL

Basically it would look like Bumblebee's bowtie in Transformers 2.

You know I never liked the Hockey Stripes but now that I see it incorporated with different colors like you have on the hood makes it looks AMAZING!

Now when I get a Camaro I will be considering that!
