Car Stereo

I am looking into replacing my OEM stereo in my Camaro to something aftermarket, that has an AUX port and support for an AMP. Any recommendations?

Also, are their any that will fill the entire space? Because the ones I've seen in stores looks like will leave a whole or need a spacer or something to fill in the rest, which I feel as if it would look ugly.

So what are you guys think? Thanks for any help!

Thanks, looked into the one you have, looks amazing. I'll probably see (and get) one that lacks the DVD functions. Don't need DVD support, AUX support is more than enough for me. Thanks again for your help!

It plays the DVD video on the screen? I thought it was for MP3s on the DVD lol. WOW that's awesome!

if your on a budget stick to a brand name unit, i would recommend the pioneer avh-4300dvd or a kenwood, jvc, sony unit. Stay away from clarion, and anything non brand name. If your really on a budget the jensen line is pretty reliable.

Sorry to bump my old thread, but didn't want to make a new one.

Would this work in my car: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001P7QJAC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A1B32OZ9AIP1Q7

Also, I currently have a two 8" subs in my back jerry rigged onto my current stereo, would this allow it to work? Lastly, since this isn't a double din, I would have to buy a filler plate correct?

Thanks for the help, just want to be able to have an AUX port, USB port for my future iPhone, and be able to listen to my music like I was born too hahahaha.

EDIT: A few others I am looking at.

Yes that will work fine, youll just need to use the single din mounting bracket of the Metra.

Clarion is a brand name but I haven't really seen to many of them around. I just put a Pioneer 4300 in mine and went with Focal speakers with a ARC amp and 2 10" woofers in the trunk. Check out the Focal speakers. They sound great..

Clarion is a good product, we've sold tons of them and no problems. Jensen/Dual = straight garbage.
