Update on NASSTY (Lethal Racing NA ls3 427 stroker w/4.10 gears)

So I have to say after a few months and thousands of miles later she is doing great and running strong!!!

Just wanted let everyone know that I have driven the car from Texas to Florida and back; also out to West Texas (Hill country and twisty roads!!) I love to take road trips when I'm off work for a few months.

I'm really happy with the kind of fuel mileage I'm getting after this build.....18mpg around town and 23mpg on the highway!!! Keep in mind it is a 427 stroker with about every external and internal mod that you can throw at it beside a turbo or blower and I'm also rocking 4.10 gears (m6)

So again a big thanks to Shawn and everyone at Lethal Racing for this excellent build!! These guys know what they are doing and do badass work!! Go see them if you live next door or on the other side of the country; promise you won't be sorry!!

Yeah to be honest I have to work very hard to get that mpg in the city; but it is possible!! It's not easy staying out of the throttle around town lol

Wow that sucks!!! I have never had that low of mpg ever!!!!! Even with some hard driving I still get about 18mpg city. Do you have stock gears? I was very curious to see what mpg I would get with the yukon 4.10 gears. Honestly I've only lost about 2mpg on the city and highway driving w/ the 4.10's.

Now I'm pretty sure I get mpg like that when I only put 1/4-1/2 tank of gas in her for going out and playing around

Are you the one with the NF cam that is making low numbers and that you think you might have the wrong cam? If so sorry to hear that!! You should pull it, check it, and holla at Shawn about your cam.

Ya, thats me. Lol! Im running 3.91s, but the MPG still sucked with the 3.45s. Im thinking about a rebuild in the near future. My catch can has been getting about half full every 100 miles, so I think I have a piston ring on its way out. Hopefully it'll wait until we close on our house to give out! Lol!

I dont think I did either. Just need to order all the gaskets and crap and pull it out. Its no fault of Lethal as the cam didnt come directly from them so I dont want anyone to think Im bashing them or blaming them. Ill get it squared away soon. Im having drive line issues Im trying to figure out first. Dont need to add more fuel to the fire! Lol!
