2015 1LE vs 2013 Bolt on SS

I raced a 2013 SS M6 with shorties, intake, and exhaust from a 20 roll and 40 roll and took him by a car each time. Easy $200 for me.

i have a 1LE also ..the roll is in your best interest due to the trans ratios. even though you have 391 rear ratio .1le has 2.66 1st
1.78 2nd 1.30 3rd vs the ss gearing ...3.01 1st 2.07 2nd 1.43 3rd ...

my friend has a 2010 with all the same mods as me in my 1LE except he has weld wheels and we both have 3.91s our cams are almost identicle except i have 113 lobe he has 115...he makes 457rwhp400tq same specs..
vs my 472-424... when we go from dig I'm trailing a full car ..when we roll 50 or below its nose to nose he edges me sometimes 1/8 car his car is 200lbs less and everytime we ran i had a regular wheel and 125b passenger ...but if we go from 60 i can pull away ..good runs though ..have fun and be safe ..we did this on old air strip 1.5 miles long

Well shorties suck so basically same power. Why is that surprising?

Cams are NEVER almost identical as the ramp profile has no spec. Were they both installed straight up or advanced/retarded? Are the rocker arms the same? There are a host of things that make every cam unique. That said, I've never run any camshaft that was not custom ground as nobody wants to use their car in the same manner, nor does that car have the same mods to perform your unique tasks.

Alright, somebody educate me here. I was to understand that the 1LE is an SS with track add-ons. It has 3.91 gears? (just trying to understand what makes it faster in a straight line than an SS.) thanks.

Technically the 1le is only a tenth quicker on the 1/4 mile than the SS from what I seen on car and driver and motortrend. I'd think mainly due to the better tires and gears.
