How many times in 40 years has the General been asleep at the wheel while the smaller (imports) competetors cruise past them because they responded faster to what the masses wanted? In Sept. Honda Canada was discounting for the 1st time ever. $5,800 off a loaded Accord Coupe.

Not sure if I understand your question, but the 2LT will be $26,580 in the states.

Americans generally use the American prices, which have been out for nearly 1 month. This thread is about Canadian prices as indicated by the title and various posts. Don't worry, you guys have smaller numbers down there.

First of all, I've been busy with school and other various things so I haven't had much time to be on the forums so I asked a question.

Second of all...how is it a "Fail?" I know this was about Canadian pricing, but I didn't see the others because like I said above, I don't have much time to be on the forums, so I asked a question.

Where's the loves now-a-days? Some of you old people are so cranky.

I am ok with the prices, but sad that our destination fee is so high, and really blindsided with the cost being the same for Ontarians.
The argument for keeping the destination charges the same to stop localized floods of orders is not really valid, since If I (in B.C) ordered from a dealer in Ontario, I'd still have to ship the car out here.
Say if the destination charge was a reasonable 400 bucks (minimum) in Ontario, and 750 (maximum) for BC, the difference between prices would not be worth the trouble or costs to buy in Ontario and ship to BC.
Also, 1400 is ridiculous considering Camaros will be shipped bulk packed with a truckload of other cars, and the net cost per car won't be more that 500 bucks. Heck, I can ship 1 car on its own from ontario to BC for 800 bucks...
The 1400 dollar charge should be reserved for orders to the arctic circle.

I hate the young people are lazy stereotype, though sadly it does have some truth in it. However an example of this is not that most young people don't/can't drive stick, since there is really no motivation to nowadays since auto gets pretty much the same mileage, and the performance gap is not that big anymore.

.....and if delivered by Canada Post.

Seriously, I don't mind the 1400 destination charge but give us a break on the price of the car and options. I rather save a couple thousand on the camaro instead of a few hundred dollars on shipping.
