I'm guessing the mustang must be the late 80s, early 90s 5.0 right? Otherwise you'd be insane to be asking if your stock LFX can hang with a new 5.0 Mustang.
If that 5.0 is near stock, you should have the quicker car overall, but they are very light so it may be a bit quicker off the line assuming it runs good. On the road, your LFX should be the quicker car. If it is modded, well then who knows.

The V6 Camaro did not get the sport tuned suspension. So it would need a suspension upgrade to run with the Five-0 in the corners. |

Slingshot...you forgot to tell us that your Sky is running the optional tune, and isn't much slower than a stock SS....of course its going to beat an LFX. Why brag???
I'm sure the OP is talking pre 95 5.0 Mustang....or hes insane to believe his LFX will compete with a newer 5.0.

Yep, Redline 2.0 with GMPP tune and Magnaflow exhaust running around 300hp/350tq and driven daily by a 18 year old girl.

Got to admit the OPs original post is lacking some important details. Anyway, a 90' 5.0 would put up a good fight and maybe put a hurt on you if it aint stock...A properly modded/gutted Civic can give a SS a good run FYI.

Forget about the GT, if its a Coyote 5.0. Try your luck with the Civic.
