Yeah the sleeves should work fine. The wire didn't melt. I put rubber over the wire for temporary protection and that started to melt. But I wasn't going to risk getting stranded lol

But I did something really stupid. I order 1 pack of the sleeves (4). The back 2 wires on each side touch so hopefully the fronts will be ok for a little

Lol whoops. I'm sure the fronts will be good if they didn't touch in that first time running the car but did you try it with the boots on or are you just waiting to do wires and boots at once?

I just had the cut rubber the first time. I ran it about 30 miles yesterday with the sleeve on. They work, no burnt wires. Holley wires are coming on the 3rd. So I'll be running the car with wires and sleeves eventually.

Car runs good and I love the sound.

Seeing the forum on an iPad is so weird. It's like I'm on a super sized phone

I put these on my car about a month ago cause I didn't want to spend the money on headers. http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...pes-1812sy.htm
I also replaced the resonator with an x pipe and I've got electric cutouts that bypass the mufflers. It's ridiculous how loud it is and it sounds awesome, I'm really happy with how it came out. And if I'm going down the highway I can close my cutouts and it's almost as quiet as the stock exhaust.

I haven't, it's a little smelly but it runs great. Nice bump in power too, it's been a month and I haven't gotten a cel yet.

I don't have mufflers, so I know it would be loud

So I got a Dr Colorchip repair kit yesterday to fix a few chips. Gonna take some pictures of the process this weekend and post the results. Hopefully it turns out good
