The big spoiler looks fugly!! But the rest is badass. Priced right, I'm all in for one. GM has nothing and wont have nothing N/A that will interest me as much. The only thing I would consider over this is going solid roller on my 5th gen 1LE when paid off.

Looks kinda "ricer" to me...

I find it pretty funny that "mustang" threads are here opened by Mustang owners and barely make 2 ou 3 pages when another mustang forum, i won't name here, have like 3 or 4 threads about Camaros, opened by Mustang owners and making loads of pages ...

Looks like Mustang people are kinda scared and need to talk about their fears ...

There will not be Carbon Ceramic brake rotors on the R version... no CC's will be offered due to the costs and Ford doesn't want to reach that 75K base pricepoint for the R version. All GT350's will use the same brakes setup. Besides the already mentioned Cup 2 tires, another advantage of the R is the Carbon Fiber wheels.... in fact most of the R's cost is due to those expensive wheels. The rest of the difference besides colored badging and matte striping are: more aggressive front splitter & rear spoiler and rear seat delete and a bit lighter door panels (hard plastic) and stiffer tuning on both the suspension & Mag Ride settings. The R will have some miscellaneuous lighter interior pieces too but aside from the standard Recaros mostly minor changes remain for the interior.

I'm content with the standard GT350 with the optional Recaros, the Track and the Electronics Pkg.

Do you have a link? Its not that I don't believe that that isn't a possibility, but you know the rules of the internet...pics or it didn't happen.

As of Jan the leaked order guide is pretty clear on their availability:

No link... straight from a Ford Performance engineer's mouth. By end of May, more details will be revealed according to him. Keep in mind, order guides are subject to change.... especially early versions. For example, even the C7 Z06 had changes in some specsifications from the early info to the actual retail production units.

So the R version won't get the carbon brakes? Isn't the R version the more hardcore model?

That's what I was told over the weekend at B-J by the Ford Performance team... one of which is a TT (mule) driver of the GT350. All boils down to cost:benefit ratios... the non-ceramics can still perform nearly as good as the CC's and many serious/repetitive track experts' feedback was it just too expensive to repeatedly replace CC rotors as a consumable item... so in order to save production and consumer costs, they will likely not include it on the R.

We'll see.....

I see, makes sense but I would think they will offer them as an option since those who will use this as a dedicated track car may want the better braking performance offered by the CC brakes.

Then how did I see a red one on the 91 freeway? It was an older man driving it. I tried to take a picture but I was getting off the freeway....
