Really hoping someone can give me a definite answer here. I just purchased 285/30/20 sized tires for the front wheels and 315/35/20 for the rear wheels. Am I in trouble here?

If there is more than a 6% difference in revolutions per mile between the front and rear tires it will throw a code. You need to find the specs on those tire and see if they are compatible.

I have a 2014 Camaro SS 1le. I recently purchased Nitto Motivo tires for it, they are not yet installed. My question is I purchased 275/35/20 (front) and 315/35/20 (rear). My question is should I have gone with 275/40/20s for the front in order to more closely match the tire outside diameters? Tire diameters can be seen below.

*275/35ZR20 102Y 27.87
*275/40ZR20 106Y 28.78
*315/35ZR20 110Y 28.54

I found this site while doing a little tire vs rim size research. It is pretty cool compare your revolution per mile, tire width, sidewall etc.

Im sure you get a million of these questions a week but i can not find a clear answer. I have a 1" lowered 2011 1ss ls3 with stock ss 20" wheels. Ive got 30k on the stick tires and i wanna gi up a size. Will front 255/40-20 rear 285/35-20 michelin pilot super sports work? I want the widest rear tire that will safley fit on the stock rim. Id rather have the michelin pss 295 but from what ive read they wont fit.

Hello all,

Im looking for a little advice about 22" wheels. Just picked up a set of staggered 22" Giovanna Meccas (22x9 & 22x10.5). The recommended tire size according to this thread is 265/30 up front and 285/30 rear. For those who currently have 22s, is this what you are running? What do you all suggest? Also note that my car is lowered 1.5". Thanks for any help/advice you can provide.

According to this thread these are the recommended sizes. I had these same sizes on my 22's and they were perfect. Only difference in mine was I had 11" on the rear.

Recommended 22" tires for 2010 Camaro
245/35-22 = 28.8" tall, 8.0-8.5 wheel
255/35-22 = 29.0" tall, 8.0-8.5 wheel
265/30-22 = 28.3" tall, 8.5-9.0 wheel
275/30-22 = 28.5" tall, 9.0-9.5 wheel
285/30-22 = 28.8" tall, 9.5-10.0 wheel
295/30-22 = 28.9" tall, 9.5-10.5 wheel
305/30-22 = 29.2" tall, 10.0-11.0 wheel
315/25-22 = 28.2" tall, 10.5-11.0 wheel

I know this was mentioned in different thread, but Nine Ball, it seems you are the tire guru. Would like your take on what a good lightweight wheel/tire setup as a spare for a 2010 2SS w/stock wheels & tire sizes, would be. Is there one size that will accommodate both front & rear? Thx in advance.

I just added a ton of power (now 672 RWHP) and I'm sliding all over the road on my stock 2010 SS wheels with P-Zereos. I'd like to step up to 275/40-20 (10" wheel) & 315/35-20 (11" wheel) to keep wheel height about the same as stock 28.7"

What is the best brand? and why?

Btw the data on the front page is so helpful. Thanks!
