I had 391 rwhp in my Camaro =) Glad to see your getting great numbers. I especially like the torque numbers.

One thing I've noticed about IPF's N/A dyno results (on a couple different cars) is that the torque seems to be very close to the HP.
To me that means a couple things. Either the HP is low, or the TQ is high, or some combination of the two. TQ should always be lower on this car than the HP for an N/A setup. That said, I don't doubt the nearly 400rwhp at all, since that has happened several times with the IPF setups.

I agree KM, hp over torque, my last was 345hp with a 245 torque. no dyno tune. now with a new tune I hope to get a new current dyno this March or April. The only print out was only the HP no, torque no AFR reading. They said their printer was down. next time I'll take my phone/tab to capture the read out.

So....we really...REALLY want to see each of these graphs. Original, IPF tuned N/A, and SC graph. Think we will get to see them anytime soon??

I'm anxious to see them as well. But I'm afraid I may have passed on the flu bug to Jesse and I think he's down for the count!
I'd cancelled my first appointment there cuz I was sick, but a week later still felt bad. Couldn't cancel twice... Hope I haven't killed the whole shop! Sorry Jesse. |

KP my friend, there's not much that gets past you...
Yes it has been awhile Sikoriko... My car hasn't made it home yet. We live in an imperfect world and it seems when you try the hardest to ensure that things go perfectly, you guarantee a different outcome. The good news is the gentlemen at IPF/Evolution Motorsports down in Tempe are ethical men, and they won't send a car back to you if they know it's not right. The car is experiencing a misfire, and we are having to go to great lengths to correct it. Jesse is standing by me and coordinating the effort. With his help and a little luck, I still hope to get to experience the thrill of a supercharged V6 Camaro. In the meantime, I'm relying on my old Yamaha to get around and good grief this has been a cold February! |

Sorry to hear that, seems to be the theme of the FI world, at least for us 2010-11 guys. While mine isn't tune related I've been down for two weeks with a broken tensioner. Getting a new piece machined here on Friday. Hope you're up an running soon.
I'm sure the issue is in the tune. But a bad MAF sensor may cause the misfire. I've had more than my fair share of busted MAF's.

Sorry to hear you're still off the road BC!
I thought of your MAF sensor issues too, hopefully they've ruled that easy fix out already... That or a bad coil pack could be the culprit, but I'm sure IPF's ace mechanics are all over it! |
