Sorry this is giving u grief. At this point there is nothing to loose. Let the dealer give it a shot.... good chance they'll use an outside vendor.... document everything. Or maybe you can talk the dealership into painting the hood if you're commented to the look.

Good luck.

Long live the black hood. Photos of me this weekend with my hood wrap. Has it since December.

Good info about Simple Green and the 3M product. I had better stick to Simple Green or mild soap and warm water.

It may just be that the new car with word "MINE" scrawled across the hood has been scratched as opposed to stained.

I had a car for years with a big matte black decal on the hood. It was high maintenance and always had something going on.
Bird crap, water spots, finger prints, wax, biker chick rode on the hood and left something on it.

Some stuff came off over time. Other stuff stuck around like battle scars.

Tear it off and have it painted. Best thing I ever did was dumping the vinyl stripes. Hard to believe there's more upkeep to vinyl than paint.

When/if I actually get around to getting the GTZ hood it will get painted semi gloss black instead of wrapped. I honestly think the car needs this for the "look".

Sent from my friggin Droid by two thumbs using Tapatalk 2 or whatever the ish it's called....
