P13W drl question
I've been having issues with the leds continuously going out on my AAC P13w LEDs, after calling them they said I need to slice the power wire from the side marker to the drl? Did anyone else have to do this? Would it matter if I have the harness for the halos to run with the drls? Why should I have to splice it?

Got mine from Offer, with the DRL harness. No problems, been about a year now.

what do you mean, like intermittent power or simply going off when your headlights come on?

When you say you have leds going out on them, are you using SMD led bulbs like these:
or plasma bulbs like these: If it's the top one, I would recommend switching to the bottom style. Get them from Diode Dynamics for the best price (about $30). Way better than the stuff AAC sells and they are nice guys too that stand behind their products. You shouldn't need to slice or splice anything to make your DRL's work properly. I don't even know why AAC would recommend that, but sadly I have experienced similar bogus responses from them. |

I am mistaken, I have the plasmas not the LEDs. I've been sent 3 different kinds one with a wire tail and connector and these two. One is white and one is black I don't know if there is any other differences. I'm being sent my 4th set now and am getting a little frustrated.

I don't blame you. I'd be pretty annoyed after several replacements too. If these don't work, I'd suggest cutting ties with AAC and find another vendor that is not only cheaper, but will be willing to help you get to the root cause. |

Arc does not stand behind their products. To me they are quite happy to gouge you once and not care about loyal customers. All of these less are pretty much junk. I've gone through two pairs of leds and gong to put my OEM back with a lens tint.
