Probably just needs a nice upgrade clutch kit later and or a more gentle break-in up front.

If someone does burnouts with it before the break-in. That's on them if there are tranny problems not the factory. The glaze will normally come off after more driving anyway.

One guy did burnouts on delivery and was wondering about the burning smell. Well... that's the clutch slipping and glazing over cause it was probably not seated. IMO*

Unless you have a verified source, or it's personally happened to you, please don't post stuff like this.

And no, typically your dealer doesn't count.

John Fitzpatrick confirmed on a webcast there was a performance issue with the V6 manual.

Someone supposed to have connections to the supplier made a couple of posts about it

Nothing to worry about. It was dealt with.

Didn't I say that like 10 posts ago?

As far as being "under constraint", you are correct that it was never listed on the weekly constraint report but it may as well have been listed there because they sure were not building them...

The only issues I have heard regarding the T6060 are with the new synchros. A lot of people have complained about a grind grind going from 1st to 2nd when the car is cold, but goes away once warm.

On a more serious note, rumor has it that the Canadian air they put in the tires at the factory has been having problems here in the states, something about the temp differences. Spoke to a guy who knows a friends who's uncle has a Camaro on order that was told by his dealer the only way to fix it is for the dealer to purge the 'bad' air and put in 'good' air.

Is this how rumors get started?

Lets hope not... higher temperatures in the US...dont want to be thought of as a citizen of a country that is full of hot air...especially when compared to Canada.

I'm not starting rumors or am I giving any credence to them, I was just asking if anyone heard anything about this. I figured if anyone knew, it would be on this board.

BTW, the Canadian air is too cold, not too hot! LOL!
