There is no way I can even fathom having a garage like half of these people are posting, it is almost surreal. That is why I am saying everyone must be a millionaire or live in the cheapest places of the US. Come on people, what is it?
Property is still pretty cheap in FL. I bought my current house when it came up on a short sale three years ago and put a lot of work into it. The "garage space" had been used for living since it was built in the 80s, so I built a 28x36 with a loft on the empty lot attached to the property. House is 2100 sq ft with a pool and I might have 180k in the whole deal. I'll never get that out of it, but I intend to die here.

I still own the house next door and my parents live in it.

The community is not gated, but I could never get away with living in one of those places anyway. I just keep big aggressive dogs and they scare the hell out people. Only one or two problems in the dozen years I've lived in the neighborhood.

This is what happens when your local Chevy dealer tries to charge you $100.00 for an oil change. They have not seen me back since & never will!

very interesting way to get a car in the air. I would love to see how you got it up so high it has to take all day.

Wow Orange.

So exactly how long do you let it drip before putting the oil pan plug back in?

Thank you very much. It took years to get it to this point and I am now finally happy with it.

You can get an idea how deep the garage actual is in this picture.

I can honestly say that is the first disco ball I have seen hanging in a garage.

My daughters had a Halloween / Birthday Party with a DJ and you have to have a Disco Ball to make it feel like a party.

I'd leave it in place. Point a few multi colored LED's flood lights at it and have fun with it.

DMW56 - Nice garage / shop I see we have the exact same taste in cars as there is not one car in your garage that I wouldn't want in my collection.
