Rear Fascia question
I am trying to remove the rear fascia. I have seen the pdf for the gfx installation. It says to take out the 1 7mm and 3 torx 15 on each wheel liner. I did that and started popping off the rear. However, once I get to the part past the rear sidemarkers (where the bumper line start to go up), it doesnt seem to want to come off. I don't want to break anything, but as far as I know I just keep pulling? It really doesn't want to come off lol.
Any help would be appreciated. P.S. Mods I put this thread in this forum b/c I am currently doing it right now and I could really use the help right now lol so please keep this thread here |

Thanks bajamoon, but I have seen both of these pdfs. In fact, I have take out the sides of the bumper. It's just that after the rear sidemarker, the bumper doesn't want to come off. I have pulled pretty hard and it still doesn't want to pop off. I just want to make sure I don't break anything being by being stupid/uninformed...

Don't know what to say, must be something your missing. Maybe some clips that attach to the rear bumper. Chit just take off the bumper lol. That's why I don't like working on cars anymore. Frickin puzzle.

Haha tell me about it... I don't know if I want to pull any harder on the bumper. It's freaking scaring me. But in those pdfs it says that all you do is have to take it off so I guess I could just pull harder lol.

All you do after you pull the side off is go to one side and pull fast like the PDF said, then do the other side the same way, don't forget the wires for the brake lights.

I felt the same way while taking mine off. I just kept going from side to side working it off. I was afraid I was going to break something too, but just keep at it. I did mine by myself but it would be helpful to have a 2nd set of hands. My biggest struggle was getting the drivers side corner to snap back on, but I eventually got it.
