Canadian dealerships
Anyone know of how many GM dealers are closing in Ontario? Or of any names of dealers closing?

Ive heard rumours that John Bear in St. Catharines and Border Pontiac in The Falls will both be closing.

I found this info on the CTV Toronto website, it's only a protion of a long story.
In Canada, GM will reduce its dealerships to something between 395 and 425 by the end of 2010. There are currently 705 dealerships. An estimated 12,000 jobs will be affected.

And good news, they get their demo car in July! I will be able to see a real one soon!!!

There was two announcements, one for each country. The U.S. have to close 1100 dealerships.

We've lost 2 in our area due to the economic crash. Not that GM closed them. Also lost a Dodge dealer near by.
