i did the same thing with my shelby gt 7 years ago except i put a supercharger on it ..so yes i am ok with it .....as for the camaro my chevy dealer offers arh headers cai and tune and warranty is still intact...but i did cam and valve springs oil pump and c5r timing chain so i guess I'm on my own ...if it were my only car i may not have but since i have a 14 ss sedan and ram 1500 i don't care as the 1LE is a toy..Is it worth it ?? YES the car is now fun and powered like it should have been at the least ..it made 480 430 ..i did it when car had 380 miles on it ..now has 1000 and its getting faster everytime i drive it as its breaking in ...good luck on your decision!!

Is there any drone with 1 7/8ths american racing headers long tube with high flow cats , and are they too loud will they annoy my neighbors? Those are my two main concerns ?

No drone at all .in fact I have kept my dual mode factory mufflers when ther open and you drive normal or at idle there Good sound no drone mid volume ..from 4k to 7k there wake the dead loud..but close them and cruise on hwy at 75 and you would think your in a caddy it's so quiet.. The headers don't cause drone the mufflers you pick do...no offense but i am respectable to my neighbors and try to pull away as quiet as possible but I'm not going not mod my cars cause im worried about what neighbors think .sorry that's just how the car sounds ..you should here my Shelby start up I have to walk away 100 ft till it warms up and idles down its pain full ..haha

im in suffolk county ..got a bunch of cool friends all solid good car guys no riff faff crap !!! i got the slowest shit of the bunch ..seems now a days if you don't have 750-1200rwhp out here your in not in the game so i got me and 8sec zx14r and a 9.20 zx10r ..haha

I agree with you totally! cars are my drug also but my wife will only let me have one ! So im ready to modify my Camaro .I used to have cbr 929 and a cbr 954 that was a lot of fun but had to get rid of them after a good friend of mine died and wifey said either the bikes go or ill put a sledgehammer to them!
