Did kooks lt with cats attached to ghl stainless exhaust. Along with pipeline intake. Pat g tune scheduled for tuesday. Wasn't hard but 18 lbft just doesn't seem tight enough.

Bump, my Kooks stepped LT's with cats will be here tomorrow. It will probably be a month before I get them on with all this snow and cold weather.

Sorry if this was covered.. I read this thread and didn't see it.. There are Headers I am considering from texas speed.. with high flow cats.. I have a flowmaster axleback that I am keeping the midpipe is stock which I am keeping as well.. Would they connect right to the stock mid? I guess all I would be losing is 2 cats right?

I'm looking for the same answer on this as well. Just ordered the TSP Long Tubes and they come with off-road extensions... This is my daily driver, I did a muffler delete a few years back. I was under the impression that the long tubes would connect up to where I still had cats. Is this not the case?

Nope, 60,000 miles later pushing this car hard. They're fine.

Do you have to get the car 2 feet off the ground? I have a floor jack and jack stands, but I don't think its going to be 2 feet off the ground. Are you able to slightly angle the headers in underneath the car?

I just got my TSP LTs and am planning on doing this weekend.

Did you have to have it up 2 feet? I know I can get jack stands under the car, but I don't think they're going to be up 2 feet, maybe a foot to a foot and a half.

Installed my obx headers and all went smooth. in the DIY it says to disconnect the steering shaft. It wasn't necessary on mine.Header slid right in,no problem.Didnt have to cut anything using the cat delete off road pipes.O2 sensors taken out of manifolds after they were removed from car.Heated them up with a torch and they came out easy with a 7/8 open end wrench. Did connect my rear o2 sensors with extenders. I did it by myself with a lift.It was quite an endeavor.Another pair of hands would have made it easier. It definitely gives it the WOW factor
