yes....and they aren't legal because they aren't DOT approved. The legal kits are closer to $1000.

Go to page 1 and look at the 8th picture down (after the videos) that shows the front view of the car. See the 2 black moldings running along the roof front to back?

Just be careful with your thoughts. Yellow for example is a PITA to match. Even from the factory my rear wing on the GTO didn't match the car...

Got IOM...Its gotta look better than black plastic. I have a few paint jobs under my belt. I can match pearls or metalics pretty well, its the candys that are hard to match and fix. I've had a few white diamond caddys where the paint on the plastic and metal parts were two distinctly different colors. Oh well....still better than black plastic.

Not to mention that the $100 kits don't have high/low beams in cars with single lamps on each side. This is done using a motorized adjuster that aims the lights high an low by moving the lens, the bulb, or sometimes moving a refelctor shield near the bulb.

The general thing I heard about these cheap kits is that they act as high beams all the time and you have to crank the adjustment screws way down to keep people from constantly flashing their high beams at you for blinding them, and you have to live with the fact that you no longer have high AND low beams.

Also remember that you'll get HID colored light coming out of a regular reflector and bezel. With the lights off it's going to look the same as any other non RS. There's no way in heck you're going to get a projector beam lens and the halo ring lighting in a $100 kit.

The complexity of the system means it should be quite some time before you see a real working and cosmetically correct aftermarket solution, and it will probably cost $500 or more.

You might get lucky and find a wrecked RS in a junkyard in a few years and be able to salvage them from there.

On my buddies Avalanch he still has the standard high beams that came with the truck and he has his HID's set to a normal hight that isn't obnoxious. I do agrree that with out the RS they won't look as cool as the RS with halo's and if that is what your after than you will need the RS. But swaping regular bulbs to HID is really easy and cheap, I have atleast 5 friends that have converted their cars to HID's and still have high beams. DOT approved.... In California that isn't a problem I guess....? Every other car on the road is a 1995 Civic with HID's and they sure as heck didn't come standard them.

Sorry if this was posted before but it appears these were taken by SSmoke's buddy. I don't think anyone linked them before. Definitely some shots I had never seen (gas cap, VIN + part tag, etc)
