For reference I dyno'd 335hp. I'm not a tune expert bu your AF Ratio is at 15:1! I've never seen a dyno yet with an A/F ration at 15.

I believe that's just off idle. It leans out to low 12's @ WOT

Did you ask how much rwhp stock L99's usually make on that particular dyno.

On the dynojet (SAE corrected numbers) in my area, stock L99's only make around 318 - 319 rwhp. They've dynoed several stock L99s and they were all in that range. Also, these were strong running L99s. One ran 13.3s in warm air.

The only other Camaro they have run had already been supercharged.

At the beginning of any pull you are in closed loop (14.7:1) (under 25% throttle position on the 6 Speed 30% on the auto) Once your dyno operator floors it, you switch to Open Loop cycle which is the fuel enrichment mode. 14.7 parts air for every 1 part fuel.

Closed loop is stoichiometric, or theoretically the chemically correct burn for a specific fuel. In the case of E10 is is 14:1; E0 (pure gasoline no longer available anywhere) 14.7:1; E85 9.675:1.

Since the LS3 is not a Flex Fuel motor (it could be easily with the proper tuning) the closed loop tables are locked in. What is curious to me, is that since all states now pump E10 (except for CA which is E5.7) you would think that GM would lock in 14:1 instead of 14.7:1 to more accurately burn the fuel in closed loop. I set all of our vehicles up that way in WI. Makes a pretty big difference in performance.

Open loop cuts away from the loop feedback of the O2 sensors and goes by the factory presets in the PE/RPM code adding fuel to avoid knock. What really happens is horsepower is reduced with additional fuel, which in turn lower the heat of combustion. The 12:1 ratios are Open Loop.

Just for the record....Ca. is now E10 compliant also.

If your not talking same exact dyno, then numbers can be all over he place.

I dreamed of living in Cali from childhood. Moved from Chicago in 1980 and lived in Huntington Beach, CA until 2004. Prostate Cancer sent me to where I am.

I miss so many things about CA, especially my 7 children (1 lives with us) and 10 Grandkids.

Our shop was next door to the Offspring Band.

Sorry to hear about the cancer. Hope everything is well now. HB.........surf city. You had to hate leaving there. Not familiar with the location having only been there a few times. So how you like it in WI? You actually get to see the seasons change. Winters are a lot different there!
