2013 ZL1 in Blue Ray Metallic

Great color combo w/ the Mojave interior... Add a CFI and black wheels and we have a winner... IMHO...

I've struggled with color for months now and finally settled on White (sort of) until now... Although I'm with a lot of folks who would have preferred a lighter blue color (that's a different thread) I do really like this new BRM color above all other choices now.

Now the killer part... do I give up a 2012 allocation and shoot for an early 2013 allocation? My wife will kill me if I don't have this car by C5Fest III, but I've waited this long and don't mind waiting to get this color.

Also wonder how the suede option will factor into this interior and if there will be price increases for 2013?

I say wait for 2013, that's what I decided to do a long time ago, for these kind of reasons. Lots more choices and some cool new gadgets. Now I'm just hoping to be able to see this color in real life before my the order would get accepted for production. That's what I was able to do with the CGM 2010 I had. Saw it on a Z06 and it confirmed how awesome the color was. The pictures weren't even close to capturing all the aspects of it.

if i were you then I would wait it out for '13 ZL1. you can this color since it'll be on the MY 13 Corvette as well just a different name. not to mention the '13 camaro's will have the optional 7 inch factory double din with nav.

LOL... I did exactly the same thing back in 2008 after I ordered black then saw CGM on the ZR1... another reason why I like this color.

Actually it will be standard and it was top of my list for things I've wanted in this car... just figured I would add it to the 2012 after the fact...

Well the nav will still be optional, I won't pay extra for the nav portion, as I'm guessing it'll be well over a grand.

I keep trying to like that Mojave interior, but it just doesn't seem very sports car to me, or maybe it's just a personal taste thing. I'd like a lighter tan color or a light gray with the BRM color.

I did like the gray I had with my CGM car... way better than black...IMO

Dang... I guess I should have known... I'll still take it for sure...

Edit: Here's the standard MyLink Radio that I thought included Nav, but now I see it's a separate option.

I've seen that color on Z06 & ZR1 and it's very beautiful on those two cars. But I'm not sure if it is as beautiful on Camaro, until I see it in person.

Yeah, the lighting on most of the other pics we've seen seem to give it a more gray look than it really has. Some of these really seem to show the blue off. I'm liking it more and more as I look through all the pics that mlee gathered of it.

Is this the exact same color as Thunder Gray on the CTSV?

Also, what is the name of the Vette color that is the same? I looked on the Chevy site and it still shows CGM...

Would like to find one on a lot somewhere to see in person.

Doesn't seem to be the same as Thunder Gray, that code is GLH

It is the same GXH code as 'NEW! Sapphire Blue Metallic' for the 2013 XTS and 'NEW! Night Race Blue Metallic' for the 2013 Vette
