Replacing Toe Arms-Need Help

I am replacing the rear toe arms and have run into a problem. I can not get the

bolt out on the top of the toe link. It is pushed out as far as it will go and is

hitting the body. It looks like to me the bolt was installed the wrong way from

the factory. Should the bolt head with cam be facing the rear of the car or the

nut? The nuts on both toe links are facing the rear of the car. If this is the

correct way how is everyone getting the top bolt out on the drivers side of the

vehicle? Maybe I am missing something here.

It's been a couple of months since I did mine...As I recall, those bolts are in there correctly. If you go to the BMR website it has instructions on how to get the bolts out. What I did was to put my floor jack under the diff and support the weight. There are 4 large 15/16 bolts that hold the diff assembly on the bottom going up. With a large breaker bar remove one bolt at a time and then put the bolt back in at least 1.5". Do this on all 4 bolts. Slowly lower floor jack and you will be able to remove the toe arms bolts. After you are done replacing the toe arms, raise floor jack and tighten the 15/16 bolts to 130 ft/lbs.

Some people like to reverse the bolt when they reinstall so they don't have all that hassle in the future.
