If it IS indeed a 2012 ZL1, shouldn't that mean a on-the-dealer-court around September? I'm not all that familiar with the way it's done out there (it's not like that here) but I'm pretty sure that's how GM plays it.

So, what, 6 months? Time to get orders in an begin production I would say.

Just FYI, how I assumed it was going to be badged ZL1 was after viewing the GMMG website and seeing the 2002 ZL1's and how FBODFATHER had described the vehicle and Becky @ Rodgers Chevrolet initial press release here on Camaro5, was a perfect match to the moniker to be used

and now

BECKY @ RODGERS CHEVROLET , put me on the list as I want one , possibly two, since my son 16th birthday is Jan 15th

Correct, it was never a model, it was an engine. Which somewhat makes even less sense. It was the fastest Camaro ever, but this new one might be even faster than the original.

I think and hope GM intends on fighting the Mustang model for model, and Z28 will return to give the Boss something to think about.

I think that's just the result of how these pictures were taken...everything seems scrunched together.

Maybe we only saw half of the slide presentation...........what if Chevrolet introduces both the ZL1 and a Z28, in a stroke of genius?

Like how my Cobalt has the ZR1 steering wheel, haha.

Looks better than the current one, for sure - it's a nice corporate wheel.

I am really impressed that it has manual transmission only, track ready cooling, mail slot delete and what looks like to be chrome trim around the side windows (exterior)
