Ordered my 2011 Camaro in May got it July 1, ordered a Borla S-Type (CAt Back) B 4 I accepted delivery, had it put on by the dealership ( no cost), sounds "BADASS" especially from 2nd gear on (auto) n sounds better then the across street neighboor Hemi pickup. Have installed a HallTech CAI (14.5 RHP) increased n the dyno proved it. Should have my plates say BADASS instead of 2011SS.

If it isn't the off road it won't be much louder...

The GMPP is the touring exhaust from Borla and sounds no different except at WOT. The off road is the S type...they are all axle backs and at 800 bucks ...ehhh

What do you have on now? So, how did you get to 500HP?

I had the same axle backs put on mine and it made it loud enough to hear the dreaded AFM and did sound louder when you got on it and a little more rumble at idle. Had the AFM turned off and removed the resonator and installed the edelbrock x-pipe, made as big as difference as the axle backs .. this thing sounds great now and seat of the pants and tire spinning it rocks now!

this isnt true at all, it might be made by borla but it is not the same muffler at all.

No muffler with the resonators sounds very nice. Has a low rumble at idle, much better when on it and not too much pop. For less than three bills, I had the mufflers cut out and straight pipe installed with the original tips welded on....straight, not cocked as from the factory and about 3/4" further back. I'm very pleased!

P.S. - Luckily the GM performance mufflers I ordered arrived damaged, so I was able to return them for a full refund. Big break for me....don't need them.

The mechanic you talked to does not have a clue or is tone deaf... I had these installed on mine and the sound is great. Much better then the stock sounded.

Definately louder and deeper than stock. Just right for a daily driver for me!
