Road and Track also ran faster in the Camaro SS.

I can't remember which magazine I was reading, but they said they raced a
5.0 Mustang GT vs Camaro SS in the 1/8 mile (1/8 mile track) many times. The Mustang GT won some of the races, and the Camaro SS won some of the races.

It really comes down to who is doing the better job at driving the car.

I think you make my point. EVERY magazine article comments on the weight and size of the Camaro. So they scrutinize the Camaro for faults, but only look at the positives on the Mustang. I'm not hating on Mustangs, I'm just pointing out what appears to be bias.
