Is this the correct fluid???
I am changing the trans fluid today on my 2013 Camaro SS. It is the manual M10 transmission. This is the fluid the Chevy dealer sold me claiming to be what is required. Is it the correct fluid?

Ummmm, what does your owner's manual say? It will give you the GM part number of the required fluid.

The part number does match one listed on page 11-13 of the owners manual. I just remembered it being something Texaco based. I am very curious if this is the same fluid it currently has in it now.

For the Manual Transmission (V8 Engine) that is the correct fluid, (GM Part No. 88861800). For the Manual Trans (V6 Engine), SAE 75W-90 Gear Oil (GM Part No. 888624750). I hope this helps. Reggie B. Chevrolet Customer Care
