Hey from Cali!

Hey guys, moving upto New York (Ithaca) for college at the end of the summer. Was wondering how hard it is for you guys drive in the snow and all, is it even worth me bringing it over to the eastcoast or should i keep it in sunny Los Angeles?

Leave it in Cali! Unless you want the corrosion that will come with snow/salt/sand....

those are all things I was thinking about. The effects from weather and all. But I have the stock tires down here in LA and when it rains, its like driving on a slip n slide....

Yeah the Pirelli's sucked for me all around. I just recently fell into a deal on some wheels and chose to mount the Nitto Invo's on them. I gotta tell ya, HUGE difference!!

Haha, thanks, I'm a bit intimidated, if you'd had asked me last year when I was a junior in high school if I thought I'd end up at Cornell, I would have chuckled!

I actually just came into NY from California (drove across), and had to drive over the Sierra's in the Camaro! There was some freak snow storm and chains were required, so they put cables on my car and such...I actually lived to tell about it, so the Camaro did somewhat ok. Do I want to ever do that again? No. However, I think with some snow tires the car will actually do decently if I went over a 7,000 foot mountain in 5 inches of snow/ice.
