Have a catch can? Valve cover breather?

Take a pic or two of your engine bay and lets see if we can notice anything.

Problem has been fixed, had a friend come over with a Snap On Solus ultra, forced an idle re learn as well as crank variation re learn and it runs like it used to... thanks guys for the ideas and help along the way

I have seen this happen several times with the drive by wire throttle bodies when customers try to clean them or move the blade in any way by hand. When this happens a relearn is almost mandatory.

Are there other ways to relearn without using a solus, tech 2, or some other expensive scanner?

Great info glad you got it sorted out.

You can do the Crank ref relearn with your SCT X4 in the special functions.

Also when you reflash the computer all adaptives are reset.
