Brake Upgrade

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of the hardware needed to successfully complete the brake upgrade (v6 to brembo). I have searched the threads but none show part numbers besides these two being 11570788 and 11515781. It stated I needed 4 EACH of those bolts. Can anyone confirm this?

Also is there anything else I may need?

Thanks

I don't know the comprehensive list but you could check out the V6 Brembo upgrade in the Chevrolet performances catalog. They list out all the individual pieces and GM part numbers.

Here's a copy of the page out of the chevy performance catalog with the V6 Brembo Brake upgrade.

Calipers, rotors, pads, and lines.

I then did the SS Master cylinder, made a huge difference in pedal feel.

Derek,

Do you have part numbers for the caliper bolts, I keep getting conflicting pn's

I got the calipers and lines and getting the rotors, just the pn on the bolts to hold them down, and pin kit information.

the bolts are the same as the stock ones. You can get the part number from GM Parts Direct if you need them. I just re-used my bolts.

Those caliper bolts are a one time torque-yield (angle) bolt. Some have gotten away with reusing them with locktite but they are less than $5 each. Replace them!

Once they are properly torqued they are stretched.
