I agree those rod bearings don't look too good. Hard to tell now where oil press might have been lost.
haha, Ya. I want to get this done before the fest.

Rod bearings are not pictured yet.

BTW, in this pic the yellow arrows point to the oil flow holes in the cam bearing. All 5 of them have both holes in the bearing.

But the hole with the red circle does NOT have a oil channel under it. It is just the block seat under it. It is this way on all 5 cam bearings.

I'm assuming this is normal?

All those small groove and scratches are your loss of pressure. That cam bearing scratch is pretty bad too.

Oh those are the main caps pictured!? Ok even worse.

I have no idea about those oil holes. Never done an LS cam.

maaaaaaaaan I'm going to be disappointed if you're not at C5 fest in Texas. I was thinking about getting this sig blown up on a giant poster just for you...

Side note, you're a Bills fan right? A guy that I went to highschool with is now the kicker for the Bills (Dustin Hopkins). So I guess I'll be kinda of rooting for the Bills now.

He'll be there, and let me know if you need help with the Sig Billboard... and banners to hang off the race track bleachers, front of the host hotel... etc...

If it weren't for a bad cam I'd still be rocking and rollin'

Careful, I may end up faster than Eve.

How did the pistons & cylinder liners look? Might just need to do a refresh and gitter back on the road till the new bottom end is ready

+1, if your main bearings get too sloppy your oil pressure goes away.

Good luck with the rebuild.
