Husky Liners Mud Flaps/Guards

I installed my rear husky liner flaps. They look great. I thought they were much bigger but im glad they are not. Didnt install fronts as i was racing with day light. Rears were a bit of a pita without removing the tires but luckily i had the right tools handy.

Planning on installing fronts maybe this weekend.

Those look great Gunner... just like mine. I just finished RE-installing my front Husky guards. As we discussed, the front ones stick out too far using the factory drilled holes (See below). Didn't like that look at all.

So I took them off and drilled new holes 9/16" towards the outer edge of the guard (See below). Holes are hard to see because I used a much smaller drill bit, but they're there). Then I got some black painted sheet metal screws to replace the two washered screws that came with the guards (couldn't get the washers off), for the screws that go in the metal fender itself. Reused the lower two torque-heads that go into the plastic inner fender.

And... Ta Daaaaa! I think they look MUCH better and plan to keep them.

It took me about 20 minutes to do each side. I measured and drilled carefully. Have you tackled yours yet?

Got my set in the mail last night, will probably install them this weekend. I think I will go with the 9/16" offset like shown above, I like that look. Overall I was really impressed on how they look and how they match up with the other textured plastic on these cars (sideskirts, diffuser, etc).

Im assuming you're referring to the Original holes on the fronts when we "shifted" it? If so, I didn't do anything with them. It's the inside of a wheel well, it's supposed to get beatup.

Is that $85 price for all 4? I was going to get the 1LE/ZL1 style flaps....but not for double the price of the husky version...tbey look great....good to know about the screw hole spacing....def will order these soon!!
