Yep under the guest bed, I figure they are better there then in my garage and the Florida heat and not being issued. As for the 20x8, its a stock SS front rim I'm was only concerned as there is a 20x9 on the other side.

As far as I know, rim width should not be an issue as long as the tire diameter is the same or similar.

Mount a couple of these magnetic floor sweepers under the front of your car.

I've had three instances that a screw has punctured my tires so far during my ownership.

This is why I got the road hazard warranty for my tires when i bought my car last year. I've been having this same problem too but I haven't had to pay a dime for the new tires

Thinking about it now that may not be a bad idea for the future but I purchased a complete polished takeoff set for $800 last year when I got my second screw. For $800 if got 4 new tires and rims and no TPMS, not a bad substitute IMO. At some point I'll sell the rims for $400. Guess now that I'm out of rears I'll start looking for another takeoff set.

It's either because you are a Rangers fan, or because you didn't have to put up with a snowy winter.

Just kidding, but as long as it is not near the edge, patch that thing.

Best of luck going forward.

Jim

LOL!

I hope they can patch it, the last time the hole was too big. There is a limit on the size of a hole that can be patched.

get a plug kit and try fixing your own?
I found one screw ( since I'm tire obsessed - always looking at them )
and I did what you never should do - pulled it out. got lucky as it was a super short one in the thickest part of the tread. No harm, no leak.
Stay away from those f-ers with blowers - the ones clearing walks and drives
they blow the nails and screws into the road. Never drive thru that.

Fixing a tire with a plug kit will likely result in having to replace the tire. Its been my experience that no one will repair a tire that has been plugged any more.

Ive only had one, got it when I took a trip to santa cruz. Was on my way home and my D.I.C was telling me I was losing presure in my rear left tire. I made it home safely, got it patched the next day at a Calderon tire shop only to be patched again by the dealer when I went for a free oil change ......
