Just placed my order for a '15 1LE - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys,
After asking a bunch of questions (and pestering Becky

) over the past few months, I finally placed an order for a '15 2SS, non-RS, 1LE. Order was placed this past Wednesday (6/10/2015)

Here's the options:
- GAN: silver ice metallic
- 1LE: SS Performance Package
- AYZ: Recaro seats
- CF5: sunroof
- NPP: dual mode exhaust
- UHQ: navigation
- VAS: body colored grille
- VK3: license plate bracket (this won't be installed; dealer told me NYS forces them to deliver a car with the bracket; they don't say it has to be installed)

Originally, I wanted Crystal Red Tintcoat, but after seeing that color on other 1LEs, I changed my mind. To me, the CRT started looking dead on the car when all the black bits of the 1LE are added.
So I decided to go with Silver Ice Metallic. It's bright, lively, shows the lines of the car beautifully, and is a nice contrast to all the black bits.

So I'm sure I'm only at event status code 1100 right now, I'm just hoping for a quick order pick up from GM. After that, I'm not worried when it shows up. Hell, I've been waiting since December 2005 to get one, what's a few more months.

June 25th.

I know I'm cutting it close, but I had to see the 6th gen before ordering, just in case I liked the 6th gen more.
As you can see, I don't.

While I like the 6th gen and it appears to be an awesome car, I feel they softened it up too much for my liking. Plus, from certain angles, it looks kinda goofy. Especially the rear quarter window and surrounding area.
It was a hard choice, though. The 6th gen will be much better than the 5th gen dynamically, but it just doesn't match the 5th gen aesthetically.
And it's not like the 5th gen is a slouch dynamically, either.
