my question exactly. What I'm thinking is if its 50 degrees now and I'm only driving it 30 min at a time and its already at 200. I don't want to know how hot it could get up to in the summer.

You want to stay under 180*. I would get a tranny cooler. All L99 guys regardless of stock stall or aftermarket should get a trans cooler. I think its best to have trans temps in the 160* range and not to go over 180* for a long lasting trans. Heat will kill a trans faster than anything and the trans needs to run cooler than the engine.

I run a BM 30000 supercooler on my truck with a yank 2800 and temps dont go above 170 unless I really hit it than they go up to 190 went on a 800 mile trip never saw 160

We carry a direct fit Transcooler. It will connect directly to your factory lines so there is no cutting of the factory lines. If you chose the Whipple Supercharger then the cooler will mount below the Heat exchanger. The Cooler uses the lower grille for air. The cooler looks like it belongs on the Camaro.
