What about the dragstrip in Bradenton? That way we could have a good long run from there to the beaches.

Just an idea for you guys.

Someone could rent a pavilion at a local park and you could have a cookout/meet and then ride to either sunshine speedway or Bradenton dragstrip for some test and tune. Pavilions are between $30-$60 depending on the size of the pavilion and which park you choose.
I have done this a few times for the S2000 group I used to be a part of.

problem with Ft. Desoto is that every weekend is probably already sold out for the entire summer. You have to reserve a pavilion there months in advance. I checked May and June already and they were sold out.

I only checked Saturday's though, I assume Sunday's are just as sold out as Saturday's.

There are a few open in July. July 9, 16, 23, 30th all have open shelters. If you guys want to do this you better jump on it, these shelters will go fast at Ft. Desoto

Lake Seminole Park in Pinellas County has open shelters for the month of June...its a decent park and close to Sunshine Speedway.
