What do you guys think?
If any of you read the post I made about the horrible experience I just had with a dealership recently then you know where I am coming from on this. What do you think about me asking the dealership to install my axle back for free? After all that was what I was doing when the Muffler shop found the volt falling out of my rear suspension.

>Leaves bolts loose during shitty suspension work
>Wants to go back and have them do exhaust work too Don't know why you'd want them touching your car again to be honest.

Can I use standard wheel ramps or do I need lower profile ramps?

I had an experience with my Harley that may help you make your decision. I bought a set of tires from a local indy motorcycle shop. Figured, why not let them install the tires, and keep my money locally to help out the small business. When I went to pick up the bike, I found them not finished with the job so I went into the shop area and found the front end of my bike resting on a milk crate, my brake calipers dangling and banging on my front fender while the mechanic was trying to mount the front tire to the forks. I nearly had a melt-down then, but kept my cool. A week later, I was on about mile 70 of a 700 mile ride when a belt in the rear tire broke and made the bike feel unstable. I managed to ride the rest of the trip on the tire without problems. At about mile 200, my riding buddy came up beside me at a stoplight and asked what was the loud scraping noise coming from my rear wheel. I removed my earbuds and heard the most God-awful sound when I applied the rear brake. When we arrived at our destination (albeit without using my rear brake) I looked closely at the rear wheel, and noticed that one of the brake pads had been put on backwards so that there was metal-on-metal when applying the rear brake. Not having the proper tools on hand, I was forced to purchase new tools from a NAPA store there to fix the problem. When I returned, I made the indy shop replace my ruined tire and rotor and brake pad and I did the labor. Needless to say, I have NEVER been back and have highly recommended to others that they do not do business with that shop either.
Why do I tell you all this? Because, once you've had bad/incompetent service, it's an indicator that you NEVER need to go back! Just my $.02 worth.....
