I get that part of it...however, many suppliers don't give you the option to specify when you order. It just adds the product to your "cart" and takes you to checkout. Maybe I just have to call like you said...

Who are you trying to order from? MarylandSpeed has them for 383 shipped and it specifies No-Tune.

And you need to check that MAF code no matter what. Even if I had the Tune model I'd not want a lazy MAF.

Are they shipping the new VR version? Also, if I don't like it and want to return it do they honor VR return policy?

Maryland Speed said they've taken some back because some people haven't like the looks. That said I would PM him and ask. A note. You will like the performance, looks are subjective.

Oh and yes it's the new version.

Yes, maryland's customer service is great, you should have no issues. I was looking on his page to purchase the VR, I guess I am just ignorant to this process because I have never bought an intake before. I guess what I am trying to get at is if there is nothing that specifies at time of purchase with the MAF...and it doesn't provide me an opportunity to specific to the seller...why do I need to check it? Again, I am pretty uneducated in the matter..I do plan on going with the no-tune.

And to clarify. You would want to check your stock MAF first. If your MAF has more than one charactor i.e. K11, then you are good. Just order the No-Tune VR...unless you are planning on tuning right away. There is NO provision for ordering a MAF online form MarylandSpeed or VR. If you have one of the single charactor MAF's i.e. J, then call VaraRam and they will sell you the right GM MAF at really good price.

Brantley, since your car is a 2011, I'd be willing to bet you have the right MAF already. BUT check before ordering the VR.

I would be intrested in seeing the result but doesn't Vararam want you to drive 100 for the ECM to re-learn? If so that is going to be hard to do a CAI, then install Vararam, then drive 100 mi, then re-dyno.

If the 100 mi re-learn is truely needed then I think it's going to be hard to test back to back.
Yeah, totally didn't wait 1 mile, let alone 99 more.

Who are you trying to contact? VaraRam directly? I got an email response today, and have called them on 3 different occasions and they answered the phone each time.

And fwiw, MarylandSpeed has the best pricing.

But if you are having a problem emailing calling and ordering online, then I don't think it's VaraRam. Their cutomer service is outstanding. Don't count on the PM to work right now though.
