I do. It has been in over a year. The hottest it gets is just over the 180 mark.

Ok, we can look into this. So far he has looked at the tune three times. I will ask if we have check this area.

I have passed this link to my tuner. I hope he can chime in. I am encouraged by the post, but like Chris, tuning is way above my skill level. LOL

Update...we were able to resolve the stalling. No more stalling. Woohoo! Upon braking it flutters as you come to a stop. 100 to 300 rpm, but does not dip below 700, and does not stall.

The only thing that requires 3rd party software to tune is the VVE table, and that it definitely not the cause of his problems. I run MAF only in my car with no problems.

Played with idle and degrees of timing and air flow? Something like this. I am not the tuner, I just know he worked on these areas.

It's a volumetric efficiency table in lots of ECMs. In ours it's broken into a bunch of different coefficients and there is no real VE table. It's a virtual VE table in the E38. It is a way of determining how much fuel should be added based on several sensors. Lots of people just disable dynamic airflow and use the MAF sensor to determine fueling.

That makes sense. Glad you got it worked out.
