SC2150 Account suspended...
Well, I swear there was another thread titled something similar, but can't find it anywhere...
Anyway, I sent Tracy, aka SC2150, an e-mail about the catch can orders that have been placed recently due to the... difficulties... encountered on the forum. I was informed, and asked to pass along that all orders are well and good, and that basically the... difficulties... are the result of another vendor causing trouble. Just to be clear, I believe Tracy is an upstanding individual, and when I asked, I was provided only with helpful information - whether I purchased anything or not. And I also think Tracy is a huge asset to the Camaro5 community, with much to offer. I was in no way steered or pushed to think one product is better than another, only to seek the facts, which is what anyone should do when researching their own projects. I do, however believe that the proof is "in the pudding". there is an awesome post by SC2150 about how to objectively test the effectiveness of your choice of catch can. Ultimately, I was sold simply due to the high regard in general of the RX catch cans on these forums. Of course I'm the guy with only 75 posts, so it would be great if some others chimed in here, as I'm sure quite a few will.

I wouldn't worry about it...I'm waiting on a ported TB from him and he said there's just someone messing around on the website. I got my catch can from him too, and hes a great person to work with and has provided great info on the forum.

Did'nt do business with SC2150 but I really had some impartial informations about catch cans. I did'nt know anything about them 4 months ago, I can say that I'm now well informed because of his involvment.
Being on this site everyday needs a lot of time investment and even if he his a sponser, I've never read anything about pushing his own products. Hope he'll be back soon.

Not much for Posting but I will throw my hat into the ring to support Tracy, SC2150. Just got my catch can last Thursday and everything that was delivered was exactly what was promised and then some. I have passed his info to a couple of other guys, so there can no better recommendation than that.

Serves as a reminder that this forum is not the open "internet". On this communication forum you may be asked to leave at anytime - and that is ok. This is someone elses house; they allow us to use it to trade ideas.
Not sure what happended to sc1250 - if it is related to a thead I think it is, I personaly saw nothing wrong. But it may be somethign else entirely. I am certain he is answering his e-mail. Do you have his e-mail address?

I agree, Tracy is a very kind person and always willing to help, I even PM him in a couple of Sundays to ask questions about installation of my catch can and he provided his feedback that same day

[QUOTE=terry_b;3200545]Well, I swear there was another thread titled something similar, but can't find it anywhere...
I suspect the earlier thread was also removed by the moderator(s), as will this one too disappear. I too feel that all views expressed by SC2150 were honest and not only promoted the performance of his product , but those of other brands that are available. He has educated many members on the need for the pcv catch can and the pros and cons of various brands. He has been very helpful and quick to reply via email to any questions or concerns, unlike a number of other vendors we have all tried to deal with. Unfortunately politics always comes into play in these forums....hopefully his status will be restored in the near future. As someone else has already posted, Tracy and his products are still available and he can be contacted via email. |

It's touching to see so many people step up to back up Tracy. Yes, I agree with everyone 100%. He is also an affiliate with SpadesV6. I talk to him from time to time, and he is by far one of my favorite vendors.
If anyone needs to contact him, RX is linked in the SpadesV6 blog. I hope to see him back soon.
