I had one injector not seat all the way on a Maggie set up I just reseated it and it was good I was told use Palmolive dish soap as the lube on the seals instead of oil by the injector company I bought them from might be sure yours are good and lubed up some I know use oil and haven't had any problems I am not familiar with the whipple fuel rail setup so outside seating them I don't know what could be the culprit I am sure some other folks will chime in

Hi,
I started up my Whipple/LS3 today - I love the sound!! I had the same issue with leakage around injectors. One of them sprayed all over, but I think that was because the injector was turned and touched against the rail. Looks better now. Still I get a bit worried. Rear injector on passenger side are wet, but no major leakages. My question: If I give the injectors a slight side force, kind of bending them to the side, they start to leak. Is this really right? Feels very risky if its that close to leaking. So much work to remove the fuel rail, the whole blower need to come off... /Thomas |

Take your time its not hard at all. Only tough part is the actual allen bolts around and under the front of the whipple itself. Be ready to cut and modify an allen wrench or two. When you get ready to do it PM me with any questions if you run into any issues. Oh and make sure you have everything in your whipple kit. Half way into i realized i was shorted the heat exchanger brackets but the whipple people overnighted them asap no charge.

Hi,
Took it for a slow test spin. Sounds awesome, no leakages around the injectors. The initial leak was definitely from the injector being pushed aside by the fuel rail when it was rotated towards the front. I'll probably just run it a bit and keep looking and then take it apart. Yes you are right, its the allen heads that are tricky. And second time everything is much easier.. Did you manage to torque these bolts, really tight to reach with a wrench. Using a long allen will only result in torsion in the allen and lower torque applied. /thomas |

I did torque the ones i could, so i could feel about how tight i needed to get the ones i couldnt torque.
