I bought a set of hash marks in matte black and they do not match my rally stripes very well. Does anyone think it's because of the age of the stripes on my hood? It's a 2010 with 38k on it, was garaged with a cover on it for the better part of two to three years before I bought it. Or is this just a normal occurrence when you get vinyl that may or may not be from the same mfr?

They look great. I'm guessing they are painted due to the contour of the hood?

Yes they are painted. To me they look amazing. I loved the color of the CTS-V that had this color and when I had to change the color of my old stripes I knew exactly what the new color was going to be. Thanks for the complement.

Have you ever thought of having the fog light surrounds and the grills painted in that color?

No I hadn't. But looking at thinking of the color and how the rest of the stripes look I feel they would be a great addition. Thanks again.

Man that hood looks good. So the stripes are metallic black? I am having a MPD1 hood painted, hope it looks as good as yours does.
