OK – Before I tell my story I need to qualify my relationship with my wife. We have been married 29 years (July 26th) and we love each other a thousand times more now than when we first got married. For the first two years our pastor knew us our relationship humor caused him to ask if we would come in for counseling!

So, back to my story . . . It’s the 4th of July weekend and we are camping just three miles up the road from home with five of my wife’s brothers and sisters families. Early Saturday morning I am sneaking out of the camp grounds to go home and put on my first coat of wax to the Camaro. Our family has known the owners of the camp grounds for over 15 years and the owner stops me on the way out and says ”Where are you going?” I tell him and he says “We are having a parade at 2:00 PM, why don’t you bring it down and be part of our parade?” So at 1:45 PM I show up at the staging area just out of sight of the camp sites. People gathered with the fire trucks and other vehicles start Oooing and Ahhing over the car, including this nice looking female in her early thirties. She absolutely loves the 2010 Camaro. So as they are cuing us up she comes running over last second and asked if she could ride in the Camaro during the parade. Knowing we will be passing the family camp sites I am thinking “This is going to hurt!” Then I blurted out – “Sure!”

As we turn the corner on the row of my family camp sites I see all of the families lined up and watching the parade. Then there is that facial expression change from one of smiles to one of ‘who’s in the passenger seat of the Camaro?’ I keep the smile on as I go by, make it all the way to the end of the parade, kick her out, and head back to the site for my punishment. That is when the real harassment started. My wife said “What was that ‘Camaro Ho’ doing in my seat, the seat I help pay for each month?” I told her that I did not know who she was, and if walking down the road right now I would not be able to pick her out of a group. “Honest Hun – it’s just someone who loves the Camaro and wanted a short ride”.

That’s my story and I sticking to it!

P.S. I am not allowed to give any more rides to cruising Camaro Hos.

She's great. There would be no divorce if everyone had the relationship we have. I am truly lucky.

Pretty funny, my girl wouldve said, well was she hot? but thats the kind of humor we have, we both are laid back and not jelous at all.....infact we will be at a red light and if some hot girls walk by ill honk at them and nod my head, she will just laugh and call me stupid.....
